One of my neighbors has a needlepoint canvas in her family room that reads “Life is what happens while you are making plans”. Nick and Sami Ware can attest to that.
Houston natives, Nick graduated from UT and was back in Houston working for a law firm while he studied for the test to be admitted to law school. At the time they were renting at 1027 Waltway. Fortunately he got a scholarship to the University of Missouri at Kansas City so in July 2012 they packed and moved up there, intending to stay two years while he got his degree. Then Sami’s sister became very sick in Houston and Sami moved back home to help care for her – eventually also helping with her ailing grandfather. After a year Nick moved back also.
Last spring they called the owner of the Waltway house to see if/when it might be available. When the current renter chose not to renew the lease the Wares signed the papers and returned to Timbergrove in September. Nick is now at the University of Houston Law Center focusing on civil litigation and Sami is still assisting with family matters.
“We love the neighborhood. The lots are perfect. We love the people,” said Sami while packing the car for tail gating at a Texan game – they are both big Texan fans. Nick also likes hunting and fishing while she enjoys crafts and cooking. They both like to travel. Chisum, the yellow lab, keeps them company at home.
They would like to buy in the neighborhood once Nick gets out of school and we would be glad to have them.
